Real Estate Prices: Generally speaking in Lincoln, office and retail lease rates are $12 to $20 per square foot per year, and new construction is running $130 to $200 per square foot. Industrial lease rates are $3 to $5 per square foot, and industrial buildings can be constructed for about $50 per square foot and higher. Industrial land sells for $2 a square foot and higher. Farmland around the edges of the city is selling for $60,000 per acre and undeveloped land within the city limits substantially higher. Cap rates for investors are about 8% to 9%.
Company Founder: Robin Eschliman, CCIM, founded Eschliman Commercial Real Estate in 2007. She spent the first twenty years of her career in property management and sales and leasing of commercial property for NAI FMA Realty. While there, she represented notable clients such as Ameritas, Hy-Vee, US Cellular, SouthPointe Mall, Westfield, Cornhusker Marriott, and Lincoln Composites. She was elected to an at-large seat on the Lincoln City Council in 2005.
Vicki Russell has spent 16 years in commercial real estate managing and drafting leases for medical buildings, shopping centers and apartments. She has been active for over 4 years in personal sales. Heavily involved in the community, she is an active volunteer in her church and Cavett School. She has joined Eschliman Commercial Real Estate to provide marketing and administrative assistance.
